A Sentiment Analysis of Justin’s speeches.
This has really never been done before in a manner that shows the chronology of sentiment from Justin Trudeau’s speeches. Gaining access to the
raw data of over 500 speeches that allowed for this type of analysis was no small accomplishment. Once I had the data, I simply ran it through my Sentiment Analysis model and charted reports from the results. It is startling, but not surprising after what we witnessed that like the media themselves, our Prime Minister insight the emotion of fear in his speeches throughout COVID and the element of fear did not seem to lesson until the later part of 2021.
Even having all his speeches in a state where they can be analyzed is of great value to those who do this sort of thing.
Like the news media themselves, it is one thing to inform of bad news, it’s another thing altogether to add in the emotion or fear.
